Nevis MCP connector

The Nevis MCP connector lets you work with Nevis from Claude. Once connected, you can ask Claude to look up your clients, review and update your tasks, and capture notes, without leaving the conversation. You need an active Nevis account to use it.

What you can do

  • Clients: find clients, review a client’s details, and create or update client records.
  • Tasks: list your tasks and your team’s tasks, filter them by client, status, priority or due date, and create, update, reassign, complete or delete tasks.
  • Notes: read, create, edit and delete notes, and attach them to clients.
  • Comments: add, edit and delete comments on tasks and notes.
  • Colleagues: look up the people in your firm, for example to assign them a task.

The connector acts as you. It can only see and change what your Nevis account can see and change, under the same roles and permissions your firm has set up in Nevis.

Connect to Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings and then Connectors.
  2. Find Nevis in the connector directory and select Connect.
  3. Sign in with your Nevis account and approve the access request.

If your Claude organization manages connectors centrally, an owner or admin may need to enable Nevis first.

The connector follows the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so other MCP-compatible apps can use it too: add a remote MCP server with the address https://app.neviswealth.com/mcp and sign in with your Nevis account when prompted.

Example prompts

  • “What are my open tasks due this week? Sort them by client.”
  • “Summarize the latest notes and open tasks for the Smith household before my meeting.”
  • “Create a high-priority task for Jordan to send the account transfer forms to the Lee family by Friday.”
  • “Add a note to the Garcia account: discussed rebalancing, client wants to revisit in Q1.”
  • “Mark the onboarding task for the Patel family as completed and add a comment that the documents were received.”

Permissions and safety

  • You sign in on the Nevis sign-in page. Your password is never shared with Claude.
  • Changes made through the connector are attributed to you in Nevis, the same as changes you make in the app.
  • Some actions, such as deleting a task, note or comment, cannot be undone. Review what Claude proposes before you approve it.
  • Claude can make mistakes. Check important details in Nevis before acting on them.

Limitations

  • The connector covers clients, tasks, notes, comments and colleagues. Other parts of Nevis, such as accounts and workflows, are not available through it yet.
  • Large lists are capped per request. Ask about a specific client, person, status or date range to get complete results.

Disconnect

To stop Claude from accessing Nevis, open Settings, then Connectors in Claude, select Nevis and choose Disconnect.

Data and privacy

The information Claude retrieves through the connector is shared with Anthropic and handled under Anthropic’s terms, as well as the Nevis Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Troubleshooting

  • Claude cannot find a client or task: check that you can see it in Nevis. The connector only returns what your account has access to.
  • An action is refused: your role in Nevis may not allow it. Ask your Nevis administrator.
  • You are asked to sign in again: your session has expired. Sign in with your Nevis account to reconnect.
