Scale AI Securely with Nevis Admin Controls

Jul 2026

How wealth management firms use Nevis to roll out AI across their organization while keeping full governance over client data.

At Nevis, we work with enterprise RIAs and institutional wealth management firms that hold some of the most sensitive data in financial services: household balance sheets, account details, tax returns, and estate plans. These firms see the value of AI and want every advisor to benefit from it. In our conversations with them, one requirement comes up early: leadership needs to see and control who has access to what, at every stage of the rollout.

We built governance into Nevis for this reason. Through the Nevis Admin panel, firms configure permissions, organize users into groups, and sync access with the identity provider they already use. New advisors get the right access from their first day, access follows people when they change teams, and compliance teams always know who can see what.

Centralize Control in the Nevis Admin Panel

Firms using Nevis manage every permission and feature setting from one place. Administrators decide which teams and roles can use each part of the Nevis Platform, including individual Workflows, and which client data each role can view. Changes take effect immediately.

This is how firms roll Nevis out in phases. An operations lead enables a set of Workflows for one advisor team and the operations group, reviews the results, and then extends access to additional regions from the same screen. The rest of the firm sees nothing until leadership decides it is ready.

Each firm sets its own pace of adoption, and every decision is visible to the people accountable for it.

Match Access to How Your Firm Is Organized

In Nevis, groups reflect the actual structure of a firm: advisor teams, regional offices, operations, and compliance. Permissions are defined once at the group level and apply to every member. When an advisor joins a team, their access matches their peers' automatically. When someone moves to a new team, their access updates in real time.

Consider a client service administrator who moves from one regional office to support a different advisor team. An administrator updates their group membership in Nevis, and they immediately have access to the households and Workflows used by their new team. At the same time, their access to the households they supported in their previous office is removed. No one has to rebuild permissions manually, and client data remains limited to the people who serve those households.

For the firms we work with, this means faster onboarding, fewer access errors, and an access record that stands up to a compliance review.

Sync Nevis With Your Identity Provider

Most enterprise firms already manage staff access through an identity provider such as Microsoft Entra ID. Nevis connects to that system directly. User accounts are provisioned and removed automatically, and groups in Nevis stay aligned with the firm's system of record.

When a new associate advisor is added in Microsoft Entra ID, their Nevis account and group membership are in place before they first log in. When an employee leaves the firm, their Nevis access ends at the same time as their access to email and other connected systems.

IT teams spend less time on manual setup, and compliance teams no longer need to track down accounts that should have been closed.

Scale AI With Confidence

We are building Nevis as the operating system for wealth management, and governance is part of that foundation. Admin controls let firms move quickly on AI while maintaining the standards their clients and regulators expect. Nevis customers configure permissions, groups, and identity provider sync from the Admin panel.

Wealth management firms spend 20 to 30 percent of revenue on manual administrative work. Our goal is to remove that work so advisors can spend more time with clients. Clear governance is what allows firms to do that across every office and every team.
